Wilson consults Monday to Thursday. Wilson enjoys providing holistic care and has a special interest in paediatrics, men’s health, preventative health and skin cancer management.

Nicole consults Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Her special interests are in  Paediatrics and Mental Health.​

Alex consults Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Alex is committed to providing holistic general medicine to patients of every age and stage.

Sam consults Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. She has clinical interests in paediatrics, women’s health, weight loss and chronic disease management.

Samantha is one of the contractor GP’s working from DFD.

Sandra consults Monday and Thursday in practice and provides home visits to patients in residential aged care facilities.

From february 2026 Sandra will provide care exclusively to her patients in Residential Aged care facilities. She will remain part of our care team and communication can be made via reception

Dr Peterson consults Tuesday and Wednesday and bi-weekly visits to selected aged care facilities.

Dr Peterson’s interests in medicine include the everyday challenge of comprehensive holistic general practice care.

Dr Peterson graduated from the University of Sydney in 1985. He was an intern and resident medical officer at Hornsby Hospital in 1985-1986, with a secondment to Hawkesbury Hospital. In 1987, he undertook a three-month rural GP term in Coonabarabran, spent three months travelling overseas, and completed a three-month term in paediatrics at Prince of Wales Children’s Hospital, followed by a three-month city GP term in Epping, Sydney. Dr Peterson moved to Newcastle in 1988 and studied obstetrics & gynaecology (obtaining the Diploma of Obstetrics) and also anaesthetics. He moved to Coonabarabran in 1989, and for the next seven years provided general practice consultations along with obstetric and anaesthetic services to the local hospital. After a year on the coast he moved to Dubbo in December 1996 and has been here ever since.

He also took the initiative to undertake postgraduate study in the area of skin cancer medicine.

His wife Allyson who works in the Practice as a Medical Practice Assistant have a passion for providing care to underprivileged people overseas in Nepal and visit yearly as able.

Michael is one of the contractor GP’s working from DFD.

Dr Andrew consults Tuesday, Wednesday and every second Friday.

Dr Andrew has been actively involved in medical education for more than 20 years and teaches medical students and GP registrars.​

His special interests are mental health and medical education.​

Andrew is one of the contractor GP’s working from DFD.

Dr Jillian consults Tuesdays and Fridays.
Jillian is particularly interested in women’s health, preventative health and paediatrics.

Dr Jillian is one of the contractor GP’s working from DFD.

Dr Paul consults Tuesday afternoon and Thursday mornings.

His special interests are family medicine, child health and pain management.

Paul is one of the contractor GP’s working from DFD.

Rory consults Monday and Friday.

Rory is passionate about paediatrics, mental health and rural medicine.

Anne is a registered Nurse Practitioner and leads the clinical support team at Dubbo Family Doctors. Nurse Practitioners can assess and diagnose patients, request and interpret tests, prescribe therapies and medications and make referrals to other health practitioners.

Anne is able to work independently or in partnership with your regular GP If you are not able to book an appointment with your regular GP or would prefer to speak to a female clinican.

Brendan consults Wednesday, and Friday.

Brendan is passionate about rural and remote healthcare.

Dr Rebecca consults Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Her particular areas of interest are geriatrics, paediatrics, and psychiatry.

Dr Rebecca will be moving in Feb 2026 to gain further experience in rural practice. We look forward to her return.

Keshini consults Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with several sessions dedicated to Telehealth appointments ideally suited to caring for patients who have difficulty attending the practice in person.

With sadness we prepare to say goodbye to Keshini in January as she returns home to Sydney and a new General Practice family.

Dr Ai-Vee will be returning to seeing her patients in February 2026 after sabbitical.

Dr Ai-Vee is an experienced and compassionate GP who has been looking after families in Dubbo since 2002. She values building strong, long-term relationships with her patients so that she can provide care that truly fits their needs. Dr Ai-Vee is passionate about helping patients stay healthy by diagnosing and treating problems early, supporting healthy living, and providing high quality care that continues through every stage of life.

She is also deeply committed to improving access to healthcare for people living in rural communities. Dr Ai-Vee serves on several local and state-level committees, contributes to medical research, and helps write clinical guidelines tailored for health professionals in Western NSW. She is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of rural doctors and strengthening the healthcare system from the ground up. Outside of her medical work, Dr Ai-Vee enjoys playing music, growing fruits and veggies, and spending time with her three children. 

We are glad to welcome Dr Samantha in February 2026. Samantha will be consulting Monday to Thursday.

Dr Samantha is passionate about rural healthcare and preventative health.

Dr Christine is committed to

Madhu is a dietitian and credentialed diabetes educator contracting from our practice on Saturday mornings.
