Nicole consults Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Her special interests are in  Paediatrics and Mental Health.​

General Practitioner – Rebecca consults Tuesday – Friday

Rebecca enjoys the breadth of family medicine including; paediatrics, women’s health, mental health, preventative medicine, and geriatrics. Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, serving at her church, scrapbooking, and living in the country.

Originally from the USA, Dr. Rebecca Preece studied medicine at Des Moines University and then did residency training in Texas. After becoming a consultant in 2008, her passion for compassionate care led her to working in Papua New Guinea for three years. She then worked in Arnhem Land for two years supporting Indigenous Homelands. In 2014 she moved to Sydney where she took time away from practice to raise her young family. 

Dr Paul consults Tuesday and Thursdays.

His special interests are family medicine, child health and pain management.

Paul is one of the contractor GP’s working from DFD.

Dr Ai-Vee has returned and is consulting Thursdays and Fridays.

Dr Ai-Vee is an experienced and compassionate GP who has been looking after families in Dubbo since 2002. She values building strong, long-term relationships with her patients so that she can provide care that truly fits their needs. Dr Ai-Vee is passionate about helping patients stay healthy by diagnosing and treating problems early, supporting healthy living, and providing high quality care that continues through every stage of life.

She is also deeply committed to improving access to healthcare for people living in rural communities. Dr Ai-Vee serves on several local and state-level committees, contributes to medical research, and helps write clinical guidelines tailored for health professionals in Western NSW. She is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of rural doctors and strengthening the healthcare system from the ground up. Outside of her medical work, Dr Ai-Vee enjoys playing music, growing fruits and veggies, and spending time with her three children. 

Rory consults on Fridays.

Rory is passionate about paediatrics, mental health and rural medicine.

Dr Rory is one of the contractor GP’s working from DFD.

Dr Christine consults Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Christine has dedicated telehealth sessions on Monday ideally suited to caring for patients who have difficulty attending the practice in person.

Dr Christine is committed to
delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care.

Sam consults Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. She has clinical interests in paediatrics, women’s health, weight loss and chronic disease management.

Samantha is one of the contractor GP’s working from DFD.

Dr Andrew consults Tuesday, Wednesday and every second Friday.

Dr Andrew has been actively involved in medical education for more than 20 years and teaches medical students and GP registrars.​

His special interests are mental health and medical education.​

Andrew is one of the contractor GP’s working from DFD.

Dr Fergus consults Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Fergus is a local with an interest in rural medicine and a passion for health and fitness and his beloved Newcastle Knights.
Fergus was a practicing physiotherapist before training as a GP.

Dr Peterson is currently on personal leave. We are not able to accept new appointments at this time.

He consults Tuesday and Wednesday and bi-weekly visits to selected aged care facilities.

Dr Peterson’s interests in medicine include the everyday challenge of comprehensive holistic general practice care.

Michael is one of the contractor GP’s working from DFD.

Dr Ashan consults Monday to Thursday. He will be joining hte DFD Team in Early August

Dr Ashan is committed to
delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care.

Anne is a registered Nurse Practitioner and leads the clinical support team at Dubbo Family Doctors. Nurse Practitioners can assess and diagnose patients, request and interpret tests, prescribe therapies and medications and make referrals to other health practitioners.

Anne is able to work independently or in partnership with your regular GP If you are not able to book an appointment with your regular GP or would prefer to speak to a female clinican.

Madhu is a dietitian and credentialed diabetes educator contracting from our practice on Fridays.

Dr Jillian will be taking a 6 month sabattical beginning August 2026.

Jillian is particularly interested in women’s health, preventative health and paediatrics.

Dr Alex will be taking a 6 month sabbatical beginning August 2026.

Alex is committed to providing holistic general medicine to patients of every age and stage.
